The newest release from acclaimed multi-instrumentalist/producer David Vito Gregoli and Grammy-winner Jim “Kimo” West has landed! Travelogue features ten original tracks and one cover (“Africa”) that take listeners on an instrumental journey to serene retreats that celebrate Nature’s beauty.
The moods of the duo’s songs range from introspective to uplifting. West’s precise fingerstyle technique shines with his slack-key inspired motifs while Gregoli layers the tracks with intriguing sounds and countermelodies that evoke the musicians’ target destinations.
Acoustic guitars are the focus, supported with Irish Bodhran and African percussion from MB Gordy and African Ngoni by Joss Jaffe.
